My Guideposts - Week22

It's what you learn after you know it all that counts.
~John Wooden

Isn't it lovely when a coach universally is regarded as a hero, The Wizard, a legend and a mentor because he cared about his players, inspired his team, and left the world a better place? John Wooden was one of the most inspirational philosophers of our generation and that (along with a cadre of former players who are better people for having known him) is a far greater legacy than a win/loss record.

Peacefully,

  1. This so true and how lucky for the players to have a coach who understands this philosophy!
