That was funny about the chickens being blown into your yard. Funnier yet if they weren't your chickens. I would be glad to send some snow your way.....I think there would be lots of others that would do the same.....then you can have a bloggy blizzard. ((((HUGS))))
My neighbors have called more than once with news that one of my chickens somehow flew into their yard, Debby! So much for chickens being unable to fly.
My first thought upon seeing that vintage card was Valentines Day back in kindergarten, when all the class exchanged cards and we would come home with a paper sack full. What I would give for those old cards now.... that was back in 1959 for me, so you can imagine how much fun they would be!
